COACHES & STAFF
Coach Capps brings both excitement and energy to his coaching and is always working to make every player reach a higher level. He has coached winning teams that have played in China, Australia, Italy and Brazil. He believes that the key to being a successful volleyball player is to learn the fundamentals, and passionately apply them! He is in his 20th year of coaching volleyball. His favorite quote is, "Know your limits, then break through them!"
Coach Hoffmann has loads of experience as the head coach of muliple high school junior varsity and varsity teams and 7 years of coaching USA Junior Volleyball Clubs. Amy also played volleyball for UW-Platteville and is a member of the Wisconsin Volleyball Coaches' Association and American Volleyball Coaches' Association. Amy has been the head coach at Hartford Union High School since 2010.
Coach Burg was with Eclipse last year and has been the head coach at various high schools. In 2013 he became the head coach at New Berlin West High School where they went 27-13 and won the conference championship. He also coached the 17-1’s for Lake Country Boys Volleyball out of Kettle Moraine before he joined Eclipse. His favorite quote is, “What counts is not the number of hours you put in but how much you put into those hours.”
Coach Bob was the Central Middle School girls' volleyball coach from 1982-2002. He was also the girls' junior varsity and varsity coach at HUHS from 1992-2002. He coached boys' volleyball at the 13's through 17's level for the North Shore Milwaukee Volleyball Club including a Silver Medal finish at the Boys' NJVC in Atlanta in 2007. Coach Bob also participated in Badger Region and USA Volleyball Junior National team selection several years.
Tana Everts is a volleyball enthusiast who has been coaching Youth Volleyball with St. Kilian School for almost 12 years. Before moving to Hartford, WI, she coached/played for an USVBA Women's Team in the North Texas Region. While earning her degree in Phy. Ed., Health, and Coaching at UW-Stevens Point, she coached middle school teams, as well as an undefeated freshman team at Little Chute High School while student teaching.
Alan and I are very excited and blessed to be in Eclipse Volleyball Club's 10th Season! We have three boys: Brad, Robby and Jayse. Whenever someone asks if we're sad that we don't have any girls, we say "Are you kidding? We've got a hundred or so of them!"

Dena played volleyball for eight years. Three of her club seasons were played on Eclipse Solar teams. Her first season with Eclipse was 11 years ago on Capps' first traveling team to China! Dena coached two club teams previously and was the JV Head Coach at Cedarburg High School. Her fave quote is, "People who live in the past generally are afraid to compete in the present. I've got my faults, but living in the past is not one of them. There's no future in it." - Sparky Anderson

Coach Edmonds has 12 years of experience coaching high school players at Hartford and Germantown, and this is her 5th year of coaching club. In 2009, Coach Edmonds had the opportunity to take a 14's team to play in Italy. Her goal for this season is to make each one of her players better and to get them ready to play at the collegiate level.
